Overview:

Despite their strengths in numerous business disciplines, many of today’s leaders are missing a key ingredient to leadership: influence. Those who depend too heavily upon the authority of their position minimize their ability to gain commitment, manage disruption, and bring about powerful results. Executive development coaching is designed to help participants refine their leadership skills, inspire others, and effectively resolve issues such as employee engagement, retention, skill acquisition, goal alignment, and overall performance.

At JHMA, coaching is not limited to corporate officials as people at all levels are utilizing executive coaches to help them achieve their full potential. We offer executive coaching for each subject listed in our course catalog with the process focusing on each participant’s self-awareness, goals, development plan, and success metrics.

Rather than being directive in nature, executive coaching is a custom-tailored intervention that involves a series of ongoing one-on-one interactions between an individual who holds responsibility within an organization and an external coach. Throughout the process, the coach uses a variety of methods and behavioral techniques to help participants achieve their goals and to improve their professional performance, effectiveness, and personal satisfaction.
